Parent Education and Support

In an ongoing effort to be beneficial to the whole family and accessable to the community at large CSWS provides a space for a variety of groups who offer support and educational workshops to parents. These activities are open to ANYONE interested in them and you do NOT have to attend the school to come to these offerings. Please stop by and look at our notice board for the current goings on or give us a call at (206) 763-2081

Monthly Parent Conversation Night
6:30 to 8:30pm with our own in house Registered Counselor, school founder and Director, Sarah Airhart $15 suggested donation. SORRY childcare is not available, please make your own arraingements. Babies in arms are welcome.

Some of the support groups we hope will use our child friendly facility will be:

La Leche League (LLL) for a monthly support group to mothers of nursing toddlers. Contact Betsy Hoffmeister for more information: betsy@hoffmeisters.com

Non-Violent Communication (NVC) for a bi-monthly group that teaches and supports parents using and wanting to use NVC in the home with children. Contact moreah@comcast.net for group information. For more information visit www.psncc.org

A note on our offerings...

Workshops and groups are offered from a variety of individuals or organizations experienced and/or passionate about life with young children and not just CSWS itself. CSWS reserves the right to deny any request for use of space or posting of information on notice boards for any reason.
